Store Policy

Made to Order / Custom Order Terms and Conditions:

By placing your order for a Large Candle (Custom), Memorial, or SoulMates candles you are consenting to the terms and conditions. You hereby understand that the items you are ordering are hand made just for you. These items take time to create, and are typically completed between 2-4 weeks after your order is placed.

Please note: You will be charged at the time the order is placed. If you have items in your cart that are ready made they will be shipped first. You will be notified once your custom order has been completed.

If you need a custom order by a set date please take the 2-4 week time frame into account when placing your order.

Once you place your order and it is processed, we do not allow changes to the color, fragrance, or label. We do not permit refunds to be given in the event that these terms were overlooked and blindly agreed to.

If you receive a custom item from us that is incorrect you may contact Talking Candles with your order number in the subject line and we will be happy to help you.

We do not allow refunds due to impatience or in the event of unforeseen circumstances, e.g.,  “my boyfriend and I broke up and I don’t need these anymore,” “I didn’t know they’d take two weeks to create,” “I need the money to pay bills,” etc. Please do not order custom items if you do not agree to these terms.

If you need part or all of your order to be exchanged or refunded please send an email stating your reasons why, but the decision is completely at the discretion of Talking Candles.

On shipment of a Mix Order:

If you place a mix order (an order of ready made and custom items), do not be surprised if you get multiple shipments. If you have any questions or concerns about the whereabouts of your unfulfilled items in your order then feel free to drop a line via email. 

Talking Candles is not accepting bulk orders at this time.


Concerning eGift Cards:

These are the responsibility of the recipient. In the event you misplace or lose your code, please email talkingcandlescs@gmail.com and our customer service department would be happy to help you get your code to you as quickly as possible.


 

Shipping Information

Don't forget to check all of the social media for discounts off of products, or popup sales. 

If items won't fit into a box of your shipping choice we will contact you immediately to resolve the issue.

How the half off shipping discount works:

I cannot apply the shipping discount using Squarespace methods, so what I will do is apply the discount to your purchase total. That way you pay for your order partially with shipping, and we at Talking Candles, will pay the rest!

I personally handle all packages until I hand them off at the Post Office.

Shipping: I ship items out Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9AM every week. This is to reduce shipping costs to you the customer. Orders placed on those days after 9:30 AM will be mailed the following business day that I mail orders out on.

The shipping department observes all U.S. holidays.

Please double check and make sure your shipping address is correct prior to placing your order. 

Shipper of Choice: USPS

Customs: I, as the seller, am in no way responsible for any extra charges you may incur while dealing with customs. All extra fees are the buyer's responsibility.

Damaged/Lost Packages: Please email me at talkingcandlescs@gmail.com if you have any concerns about your order. 

Please note: Once your order leaves my hands, I cannot guarantee the delivery time of any package. 


Returns and Exchanges:

If you don’t like the scent of your unlit candle or unmelted tarts, you can request an exchange or refund.

Any tarts or candles that have been melted and/or lit are non refundable and ineligible for exchange at that point. Items that arrive damaged are eligible for replacement OR refund. Just send 5 photos of the damaged product in your email, an and state which whether you want a refund or exchange. In cases of refunds, the refund will not be issued until the damaged product has been received.

Wholesale: This shop is in no way intended to purchase from and resell the products listed. Each item is handmade with detail, care and creativity. This goes against store policy, and if a person is found to be doing this, they will be banned from purchasing from this store and legal action will be pursued.


As an independent owner/seller, I reserve the right to deny business to any individual or group.
